The garden has a variety of insect houses and nesting sites. In addition to built insect houses (shepherd’s garden and micro forest), there is the sandstone staircase in the breakfast room. The open and sandy stone grandstand creates many loopholes for a variety of wild bees and other insects.

Various branches were tied together to form insect walls (the largest is in front of the new building).
