In 1996, the largest commercially used solar system for process water in the Erlangen-Nuremberg-Fürth area was put into operation in the Hotel Luise. The system had a total area of ​​42 square meters with 18 flat modules. It no longer exists due to the renovation of the roof and roof terrace.
