Description:

At the end of the 1990s, Klaus Förtsch (2nd generation of the hotel) installed several Schuko sockets for the electric cars of the time in the garage. As a member of the oldest solar mobile association in Germany, such a store was already possible back then. However, the cars of that time only had a charging option via the usual socket plugs.

The hotel has had several 11kW electric charging stations for cars since 2017. They were located outside in two parking spaces in front of the hotel and two in the underground car park. These were supplied with electricity from the in-house PV system or certified green electricity.

Since September 9, 2022, two 22kW charging stations with direct payment functions have been available in our parking spaces on Pfälzerstrasse. The electricity is 100% certified green electricity.
In addition, a charging station is available exclusively for car sharing. Another measure with which we promote regional, sustainable mobility.
