Reuse, Reduce, Upcycle
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Upcycle! Waste reduction and reuse of materials are very important to us. That’s why we’ve already implemented numerous upcycling projects, which have given existing items a new meaning and avoided waste.
Some examples:
- former wardrobe was converted into “Think in Box“
- Bridge in the courtyard was built from former roof beams
- old boilers used as plant pots in the courtyard
- discarded roof racks used as decorative elements in the courtyard
- Use of sandstone blocks, which come from former railway tunnels, for “stairs” of the Franconian garden
- old jam jars are used as plant pots
- former construction site plane were transformed by employees into pennant chains
- old apothecary cabinet from the a former pharmacy in Coburg was processed and converted into a display case
Implementation period: Continuous
