The renewable rooms are the first hotel rooms in Germany to have integrated shower technology that was originally developed for NASA’s Mars mission. Orbital Systems’ patented water recycling technology is part of the world’s most efficient shower, capable of saving over 90 percent water and 80 percent energy over traditional showers. With its revolutionary cleaning system, the shower of the future creates water that is cleaner than tap water. With precise digital temperature control and higher water flow per minute, the user is guaranteed a high-quality shower experience. The technology comes from an academic joint project by Orbital Systems of Sweden with NASA and follows the same principles that also require space visits: Earth’s resources are precious and must be used as efficiently as possible.
