A big problem in the cities are sealed areas. They prevent water from seeping away and plants from growing. In addition, these areas heat up considerably in summer and give off the heat again at night. The temperature in the cities increases throughout the day and leads to a negative accumulation of heat in densely built-up urban areas.
We make sure to have unsealed areas on the entire site. Only a small part of the total area is currently sealed: disabled parking space, entrance area, entrance to the underground car park and parking spaces on Pfälzerstraße. In the long term, the parking lots should also be unsealed.
